The Farmina Vet Life Ossalati contains low amount of calcium and vitamin D 3, in order to reduce the concentration of oxalate uroliths. The small amount of proteins and sulfur-containing amino acids reduces the concentration of uric acid and cystine stones. Alkaline pH of the urine was achieved thanks to the action of potassium citrate that increases the saturation point of the crystals. In addition, it contains very low concentrations of copper so as to avoid its toxic effects in dogs suffering from difficulty digesting excessive copper through the liver
